  TEXSA MORTERPLAS PARKING is an elastomeric SBS bitumen-based waterproofing membrane reinforced with polyester felt (FP), with a non-woven polyester mat (FP) finish on the upper side and thermofusible film on the underside. This membrane is specially designed for car park roofs and highway bridge decks. The product is designed according to UNE 104-242/1 standard as type LBM(SBS)-48/FP-FP and holds the INCE-AENOR Quality Seal.
Application Method :
  TEXSA MORTERPLAS PARKING is applied single-ply. It is applied for the waterproofing of car park roofs, bridge decks on highways and concrete structures with asphaltic agglomerate finish. Waterproofing of roofs allowing wheeled traffic (0-15% pitch), for fully bonded two-ply solutions (PA-8 membrane), or fully bonded single-layer solutions (PA-9 membrane). For any waterproofing application requiring a tough, high strength membrane. For two-ply systems, an LBM-30 membrane (Polymeric Morterplas SBS FV 3 Kg, Polymeric Morterplas FV 3 Kg or Polymeric Morterplas FP 3 Kg) is recommended as an underlayer adhered to the substrate. TEXSA MORTERPLAS PARKING is then torched on to the underlayer. The surface receiving the membrane must be dry, firm, even, clean and free from loose materials.
Technical Details :
  * TEXSA MORTERPLAS PARKING is manufactured with an SBS elastomeric compound, which confers excellent pliability at low temperatures to the membrane. * The 180-g/m² non-woven polyester felt (FP) reinforcement and 150- g/m² polyester mat on the upper side, confer the best mechanical properties to the membrane: - High resistance: - To break - To static and dynamic puncturing - To wheeled truck traffic and road asphalt-spreading machinery - To road asphalt temperatures, as the melt point of non-woven polyester exceeds 200ºC - High dimensional stability - Possibility of single-ply application - Great adherence to the substrate - Great adherence of road asphalt to membrane - In total, the membrane has 330 g/ m² of polyester. (This reinforcement meets the requirements established in UNE 104-202 standard for bituminous waterproofing membrane reinforcements).
