Description :
  TEXSELF 1.5 is a self-adhesive, elastomeric SBS bitumen-based waterproofing membrane, with a high mechanical performance polyethylene film finish on the upper side and easily removable silicone film on the underside. Product designed according to UNE 104241 Standard as type LBA-15-PE. This unreinforced membrane, in which the upper finish acts as both reinforcement and non-stick film, is a very stable, 100-micra high density cross-laminated polyethylene film, with great tear strength and magnificent mechanical properties.
M?thode d'application :
  - Very easy to apply: the membrane is applied rapidly, cleanly and with no need for special tools. - Easy bonding to the substrate, after previously applying a fast-drying primer. - Overlaps are carried out by simple contact and pressure. - No torch is required; application of TEXSELF 1.5 only requires a brush, cutter and rubber roller. - Safety in application; minimum fire risk as no torching is used. - It is a flexible membrane that easily absorbs substrate movement. - Substrate preparation: The surface where TEXSELF 1.5 is to be applied must be free from dust, loose or badly adhered materials, remains of grease or anti-adherent products and any dirt in general. - Priming: An EMUFAL I-type water-based primer is applied on the substrate to improve adherence. - Application of the membrane: Remove the non-stick silicone film from the underside and place the membrane on the previously primed surface. Press the membrane against the substrate with a brush, starting at the centre and going towards the edges to prevent the formation of bubbles. Overlaps must have a width of 7 cm and are carried out by strongly pressing down with a rubber roller on the top membrane.
D?tails techniques :
  - Foundation waterproofing. The complete system consists in waterproofing with TEXSELF 1.5 and adding a DRENTEX drainage layer, which protects the membrane and acts as a filter and conduct for water. - Waterproofing of walls. - Waterproofing of wet areas: bathrooms, kitchens, etc. - Capillarity barrier for partially buried walls, to stop rising water. - Waterproofing of balconies. - Waterproofing of pipes, tanks, irrigation ditches, etc. - To reinforce waterproofing on pitched roofs subject to filtering as a result of rain and wind combined, or buildup of snow or ice on the roof.
