Item Description :
Treatment for flat roofs and a wide range of substrates including metal, roof coatings, bitumen and felts. Reduces heat build-up on flat and sloping roofs, limiting thermal movement at the same time protecting roofing from the harmful effects of UV radiation. High density aluminum leaf pigment provides a bright reflective finish, heat and light reflective.
Application Method :
By brushing which should be kept to minimum to prevent solvents softening the underlying roof coatings. or with a roller. Approximately 6-8m2/litreper coat, depending on surface. Usually two coats are required. It has to be thoroughly stirred before and during use to ensure even distribution of pigment.
Technical Details :
This is bitumen based aluminium paint, which can be applied to a wide range of substrates including metal. It is available in two sizes 5lit and 25 litre. Drying time 6 -8 hours depending on temperature.
