Item Description :
This is a specially formulated solvent based wood preserver, which helps to combat decay and rot in timber. It also protects against wood boring insects and fungi, whilst providing a pleasing finish, meant for interior or exterior use. Available in three colours: Clear, Green and Brown. This product can be used as a wood preservative for preservation of most timber types including: Sheds, fencing, rustic work, garden furniture, building joinery, window frames, internal roof timbers, floor boards.
Application Method :
Because of the drying characteristics, excellently suitable for manufacturing paint and/or cement or for greasing of stain. The straw yellow double boiled linseed oil is preeminently suitable as a wood preservative and as an agent to protect iron from rust. For the latter mentioned application it is even recommendable to treat metal that is already somewhat rusty.
Technical Details :
A boiled oil based predominantly on Linseed oil, containing metallic driers. A liquid of dark brown colour, oily type. Not soluble in water but in white spirit and acetone. Drying time 14 hours at 23degrees C Suitable for the treatment of timber to prevent drying out after long periods in the sun.
