Item Description :
Can be used for single glass and double glazed units, frames with beads, painted timber frames, stained timber frames and painted steel frames.
Application Method :
Some separation of oil may occur – mix back into the butyl before use. Ensure all surfaces are dry, free from dust, grease and loose materials. For maximum performance all timber surfaces to be in contact with Linseed Putty must be first sealed before applying the compound into the rebate. Appropriate distance pieces and setting blocks must be used to ensure sufficient material is present between the timber and glass. For optimum performance overcoat with paint once a good skin has formed usually after 7 days.
Technical Details :
For best results this product should be used within 3 months of date of manufacture and should be stred in a cool dry place. Should be kept out of reach of children.
