Item Description :
This is a specially formulated solvent based wood preserver, which helps to combat decay and rot in timber. It also protects against wood boring insects and fungi, whilst providing a pleasing finish, meant for interior or exterior use. Available in three colours: Clear, Green and Brown. This product can be used as a wood preservative for preservation of most timber types including: sheds, fencing, rustic work, garden furniture, building joinery, window frames, internal roof timbers, floor boards.
Application Method :
Timber must be clean, dry and free from surface coatings like paint, varnish or polish. All surfaces must be treated including end grain. Two coats should be applied allowing the wood to dry between coats. Typical coverage is 6m2/litre. When the treatment is completed and the wood is dry it may be painted, varnished or polished.
Technical Details :
A white spirit solution, containing a zinc formulation, for use as a wood preservative. It is not classified as carcinogenic. Flammable. Good standards of ventilation must be provided for storage, and breathing of the product must be avoided, must be kept in tightly closed, clearly labeled container, out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Must be kept away from children.
