Item Description :
We supply market-leading choice of pour and roll, torch applied and self-adhesive roofing membranes which are suitable for domestic and commercial applications. High performance roofing membranes provide long term waterproofing performance, ideal handling characteristics and rapid installation.
Application Method :
Pour and roll application involves pouring hot bitumen onto the deck, insulation, or lower layer of membrane and rolling the next layer of membrane into it. Torch-on membranes have an underside which has been pre-treated with a covering of thermofusible bitumen. This covering is then heated with a propane gas torch and the membrane is applied to the surface of the roof while the bitumen is still hot Coldseal (self-adhesive) membranes have simple installation � only basic skills and tools are required.
Technical Details :
The combination of polyester bases for toughness and SBS polymer modified bitumen coatings for flexibility, ensures that membranes have the properties to cope with the demands of modern building techniques and achieve the highest UK fire ratings.
